Hi, I’m Lorraine (Luby),

Graphic Designer, Brand Lover, Business Supporter

I’m a Graphic Designer with a vision to help your business grow for long-term success based on the vision you have for your business. I graduated from the National College of Art & Design in Ireland (BDes in Visual Communications) in 2007. Now, I’m a professional doodler living and working in Poulshone, County Wexford, just a two-minute walk from the sea.

My focus is on enhancing the visibility and credibility of both new and established businesses among their target audiences. I am passionate about creating personalised logos and brand identities, empowering my clients with the confidence and tools (both strategic and collateral) needed to propel their businesses forward.

Our designs reflect your business and create an emotional connection to your brand for your long-term success. Our support allows you to lean on us and get specialised help to get clear on how to move your business forward and connect with your target market.

Why? Because I love seeing my clients' confidence and branding grow throughout this design journey, knowing they are better prepared to market themselves and focus on the parts of their business that they love.

Hi, I’m Barry (Luby),

Chief Cryer, Walker, Studio Support Assistant

My role here is to take Lorraine for a walk when she needs to come up with creative solutions. I don’t have much professional training but I’m told that I’m the best.

Why? Because when you receive the right support you can achieve anything.

Logo Concepts

Using inspiration from the research phase, we create rough logo concepts. These will be hand-drawn sketches of the logo, then presented to you as rough black and white concept ideas.

This presentation takes around an hour of your time and ensures your involvement and voice at integral parts of the design process.

Logo Development

We will create logo concepts based on the selected sketch/rough logo concept. We will collaborate with you to refine the logo until it matches your preferences and reflects your business ideals and brand personality.

Logo Family

Following approval of the Primary Logo, Lorraine will create applicable logo variations to accommodate future marketing needs. The logo variations often include vertical version, horizontal version, icon mark with text and without, black on white, white on black and so forth.

These logo variations are integral to ensuring that your brand message will remain consistent without getting stale.

Style Guide

A Brand Style Guide is created to establish the basic rules for the final logo family. It contains your brand essentials, such as the colour palette, typography, brand asset examples, and tone of voice.

This guide is your brand toolkit, essential for ensuring that the identity system is treated consistently by all designers and staff as your brand moves forward to long-term success.

FAQ’s

  • Each logo project is different and therefore there is no fixed timeframe. However, it is best to allow 4-6 weeks for a logo project, but be mindful that some projects can take over 2 months to complete.

  • We may be able to commence a project straight away. However, if you have a specific deadline it is a good idea to get in touch a few months in advance to ensure your project is booked into the schedule in time.

  • We like to have a call (or video call) prior to starting any project. This is an opportunity for the client to run through what they require and for us to explain our creative processes. There is absolutely no obligation to proceed at this stage. If the client and graphic designer both feel like we would have a good working relationship for the project, then a proposal is created and presented to the client afterwards. The client will then have all of the information required and can decide if they wish to proceed at that stage.

  • Whether it is a full logo and identity design project or a one off business card, we start each project with a discovery call. During this 30 minute call we will ask you specific questions regarding your business, your goals and the product required. We will guide you as best we can through this process because we want to give our clients less work to do - not more.

  • An example of our 'logo package one' can be found on our services page. This further explains what's included within this project scope. Expect to invest €1300-€1600 for this service.

It is always best to get in touch with us for a no-obligation, detailed proposal and quote. This way, we can guide you through our process and address any questions or concerns you may have.

  • We require a deposit of 50% upon confirmation of proposal acceptance. This will ensure your project’s place in our diary (even if the project is not due to commence for a few weeks or months).

We cannot book a project into our schedule until the deposit has been received.

  • Yes! It is our practice to include 2 rounds of revisions in our project scope. (larger design projects will contain more revision rounds). We present our design concepts and project progress to you at pre-determined intervals. The client can then ask questions and provide feedback to us within a day or two.

We love this way of working as it both ensures that we are all on the right track with the same goals and also it’s wonderful to see the clients be a part of the design process.

  • Our logo design process is outlined above.

If you have any questions please feel free to contact us: hello@luuubycreative.ie

  • Each logo and identity design is bespoke and created just for your business. We design each project with your concepts, goals and ideals in mind, hence creating a unique logo for your business.

At the end of each project the client becomes owner of the final designs and is then free to trademark if needed.

  • We offer a free 30 minute consultation for each project (big or small). During this call we can chat through what you feel is required and why, and we are happy to answer any questions you have.

This is a no-obligation meeting. We understand that you may need to talk things through or to a few designers to ensure the best fit for you and your project.

To get in touch feel free to use our contact form or email us at hello@luuubycreative.ie

  • Yes! We know that a strong identity needs strong marketing material. We can assist you to design branded leaflets, business cards, event banners, bags, t-shirts, packaging, social media templates and anything else that your business may require.

These marketing design pieces can be included in the initial logo design scope (proposal).

We also love repeat business and we are happy to assist our clients weeks, months or even years down the line, as and when they require further branding material to further grow their business.

  • Yes! We will equip you with all of the files that you should ever need in all of their wonderful formats alongside an explanation of what file is best for each purpose.

We also provide a detailed ‘Goodbye’ document to all logo design clients as we want to ensure they are confident moving forward with their new branding.

We love to build real relationships with our clients throughout the design process also, and are always available if they have a question - big or small, now or in the future.

  • In this wonderful digital age it is easier to work with people from all over the world. No matter if a client is in Ireland or anywhere else, we still like to work closely with them to ensure each project is collaborative.

We meet 2-3 times over zoom (or another video call service) over the course of a logo / identity project, so even if far away we can still work together as closely as needed.
